EDHI 380:  HIGHER EDUCATION SEMINAR (HEADACHES AND REMEDIES), (University of Vermont, SPRING 2015)

Aspiring student affairs professionals are entering a field in transition.  It's actually something of a minefield in transition.  In this section of a larger course, we'll cover four topics that are emblematic of the challenges faced by senior student affairs professionals.   But these are also issues that impact every student affairs professional on a campus--from SSAO to academic advisors to residence directors.  Each of these topics will be examined globally:  what they mean for higher education, and locally:  how they impact our work with students.
